Do you believe in God?

Do you believe that God created the universe and this world and all that is in the world?

Why do you believe?

Can you scientifically prove that God created the world?

Do you believe the Bible which is the Word of God?

What does the Bible say?

Genesis 1:1-31 In the beginning God created...and God saw every thing that he had made.
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is
Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing
Psalms 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;... by the breath of his mouth.
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? ...the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it
Jeremiah 9:6 thou hast made heaven...the earth, and all things that are therein

Just as easily and strongly as you believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, you must also believe all of His promises.

The same God who made the promise to heal your body is the same God who created all things which exist.

The same God who called you to holiness and spiritual perfection and promised to give you the grace to live free from sin, is the same God who created all things.

The same God who sent His Son to be the light of truth and the way of truth, to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper and preach this good news of salvation is the same God who created all things.

Hebrews 11:1-3
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

You can not scientifically prove that God exists and that He created the world; however, we know experimentally that God is real and we know by faith in His word that He created all things for His glory.

Great is your faith and great is the reward of faith to them who believe and obey.
I know what God has done in my life. Although I have not seen God, I have experienced His divine healing and the influence of His grace in my soul.

John 20:26-31
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

God has revealed Himself to many individuals for a testimony of Himself.
These many testimonies provide a consistent and truthful witness of God.
Each of us has felt and known the presence of God as He has spoken to our heart.
If we deny Him, we must deny the truth we have known and experienced.

Matthew 8:5-13
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Centurion had heard the testimonies of Jesus and He believed the reports.
You have heard the testimonies! Do you believe?

Mark 11:22-24
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

We ought to believe God.
We ought to believe the Word of God.
We ought to have faith in His promises and provisions.
We should not doubt that God will do what He said He will do.

Faith and obedience will produce “Mountain Moving Miracles,” because, our God is able. Our God has not changed. He created all things. He has power over all things. With God there is nothing impossible.

Ephesians 3:14-21
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Your imagination may be limited, but God is not limited.
Do not limit God with your mind. He is greater than your mind.
Have faith in God and believe His Word. He has proven Himself to many people.
He wants to prove Himself to you.
Believe in His power to set you free from sin, regardless of all the naysayers.
Believe in His power to heal your body, regardless of all the physicians and doubters.

Our subject thought today is “The Law of Kindness.”
In our modern day of fast living the Law of Kindness has been replaced with a “License for Rudeness.”
A “law” is a binding custom or practice of a community : a rule of conduct.
This Law of Kindness, which is a binding practice in the community of Christians, has been set aside by the world of sinners. They have given permission for everyone to act rude.

The definition of kindness is: to show oneself useful, i.e. to act benevolently.
A benevolent person is one who has a disposition to doing good.
The word “disposition” means to possess the tendency to act in a certain manner under given circumstances; a prevailing tendency, mood, or inclination.

Can it be said of you that you have a prevailing tendency to show yourself useful to your friends and enemies.

Many people in our world say they are kind, they think they are kind, but they are not consistently and faithful at being useful in doing good. The do not have a servants heart of being useful to others. They are selfish in that they care more about themselves than others.

People claim to be Christian and they are not. They do not have Christian characteristics. They do not live according to the law of Love. They do not live according to the law of kindness. The Bible says that the law of kindness is in the tongue of a virtuous woman.

Proverbs 31:10-31
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

Do we hear and experience the law of kindness when you speak to others? Are you disrespectful or kind in your words? Do you build up or tear down with your words? Do you hurt people with your mouth? People are rude and they call it joking. People will insult others and say they are just playing and having fun. If you hurt someone with your tongue, you are not playing.

Proverbs 26:19-22
19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?
20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Do you hurt people and then excuse yourself by saying you were “sporting”? Are you rude and disrespectful and then dismiss it with “Just kidding.” “I was just playing.” I always taught my children that when you are playing, everyone is having fun. If one person is hurting and offended, then it is no longer playing.

Ephesians 4:22-5:2
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Chapter 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

The Word of God gives us a very detailed description of the life style of a Christian. By these characteristics, we can recognize a child of God. If you are not Christ-like, how can you be a Christian?

Luke 6:35-36
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Kindness is require toward the evil person and the unthankful. All of God’s children are kind. The apostle Paul said in Romans 8:9
“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

1 Corinthians 13:4
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Charity is the love of God working in you when you treat others like Jesus Christ would treat them. Charity is kind. Do you have charity?

If you are a child of God you will have the mind of Christ. You will be kind and useful to others. You will have a servant’s heart to be a blessing to your friends and enemies. You will be willing to help those who hurt others. You will be an example of the believer in every way which is taught by the Holy Scriptures.

If the Holy Spirit has spoken to you and let you know that you do not live by the law of kindness, you ought to repent and ask God to forgive you. You need God’s grace to be kind.

Hell is a reality and the belief that it does not exist does not change that reality.

From the beginning Satan has lied to Adam and Eve and all others, “You will not surely die!” You will not surely be separated from God and be eternally lost in a place of torment.

But what does the Holy Scriptures teach us about Hell. Study with me and believe the truth according to the Word of God.

If we understand the great penalty for disobedience and the reality of spending an eternity in the torments of hell, we ought to fear God and have a great burden for the lost sinner.

Heaven and Hell are very real places which have been prepared by God and our Lord Jesus Christ to reward the righteous and the wicked.

I would like to invite you to try to imagine in your mind what a great horror it will be to you, if when you stand before God at the great judgment and there are those who are doomed to an eternal hell standing there to accuse you of not being faithful to warn them about the eternal punishment for not believing and obeying God.

A Gallop poll in 1995 found that only 24% of British people believe in hell as an objective reality whereas around 50% believe in heaven. Note: that must mean that 76% don’t believe that hell is real.

A survey by the Barna Group unveiled Americans' beliefs about hell.

• 39% percent believe that hell is a state of eternal separation from God's presence. Note: According to this survey 61% do not believe that hell is real.


Some of the larger religious organizations which do not believe in hell as a place of eternal torment for the wicked are:
Seventh Day Adventists; Jehovah’s Witnesses; Universalists; Christian Scientists; and the members of the Unity Church.

The key factor in whether or not you believe in Hell as a real place of eternal torment for the wicked is whether or not you believe the Word of God. It is, like all other spiritual truths, dependent upon your faith in God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith, you will not listen to the Holy Spirit by whom all truth is revealed.

Jesus said in John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

If you don’t believe in God, then you will not believe in Hell. If you do not believe in Hell, then you do not believe God.

Matthew 10:28 …destroy (see SEC 622: Apollumi – to destroy fully…die, lose, mar, perish) both soul and body in hell. Separation from God is eternal death. Union with God is eternal life. To be separated from God is destruction, to be destroyed spiritually but not essentially. We use the expression: “His life was full of destruction”, but he was not destroyed. We often use the word “destroyed” to mean “ruined”. There is no scriptural evidence that the spiritual creations of God will ever cease to exist. All angels and spirits will continue their essential existence in either heaven or hell.

Will you spend eternity with the Devil and his angels who will be cursed into everlasting fire? Have you talked to your family and friends about this?

The Sin of Sodomy


America and many other countries in the world today have put their approval and acceptance on the sin of sodomy which is the conduct of a homosexual, the lesbian, gay and transvestite. If you do not understand the definition of some of the words used in this message, use your dictionary and learn the meaning.

2 Timothy 3:1-9
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

“Without natural affection” means to be hard-hearted towards kindred.” Self-love has swept aside brotherly love.

The holy scriptures use the “dog” as a euphemism for sodomites.
