 Sin has the power to bind you and hold you against your will.

Sin will take your further than you wanted to go.

Sin will keep you longer than you wanted to stay.

Proverbs 5:22, “His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.”

You choose the path you will take but you cannot control the consequences.  You are where you are by reason of your own choice, but you do not control what happens to you in the place you have chosen.

What you believe has the power to bind you!  If you believe a lie, the lie will influence the way you think, talk and act.  If you believe a false doctrine, your mind and spirit will be restrained from doing anything contrary to that doctrine.  If you believe a lie you will promote it and share it with others.

Mark 3:27
No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Many people have allowed themselves to be deceived by believing what someone has told them.  They have not examined the error to know that it is contrary to the Holy Scriptures.  They have chosen to believe the lie because of some measure of credibility they have ascribed to the one who has shared the lie with them.

Some men and women have been true saints of God and the Lord Jesus Christ has put His approval upon their life with signs and miracles.  Then when that spiritual person backslides and departs from the truth, people continue to follow them in their error because of their past life.

The concept of bondage and forced service is not found in the relationship of men with Jesus Christ.  Our relationship is wholeheartedly voluntary.

We are bound by love, but it is never forced.
We endeavor together in the bond of peace, but it is never against our will.

Ephesians 4:1-3
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We are exhorted to live holy and we have received the commandment to obey God’s word, but it is never forced.  We are counseled to examine ourselves and be faithful to follow our Lord Jesus Christ.  But it is always voluntary.  We wholeheartedly choose to live in obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

God has so designed our lives upon this earth that we can choose who is our teacher.

When you place your confidence in a person to trust what they teach, then that person’s beliefs will begin to influence what you believe.

You will be emotionally and spiritually “held” by their teachings because you have trusted their integrity and you have accepted them as your teacher.

I am not trying to prevent you from having confidence in a pastor or teacher.  However, you must always examine what they teach and compare it with the Word and the Spirit.  You must do this with an attitude of humility and respect toward the “man” teacher and confidence in the “Holy Ghost ”  who has been given to teach you all things.

Romans 6:12-23
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Are you in bondage to sin?  Have you become the servant of sin?
Are you a servant of righteousness in Christ Jesus?

Verse 16 tells us:  “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”

You choose your master and then your master chooses what happens in your life.  The greatest choice you have in this life is to choose whom you believe.  Either you believe Jesus or Satan.  Everyone makes that choice.  Some people make that choice in ignorance, not knowing the consequences of their choice.

Acts 3:13-21
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 And now, brethren, I wot [i.e.know] that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

The religious leaders and the people of Israel knew in part what they were doing when they condemned Jesus.  But they did not know the fullness of the consequences of their actions.  Peter said that they did it through ignorance.  But their ignorance did not excuse their sin, because they knew that Jesus was righteous and they knew that their condemnation was unjust.  They were guilty of over-riding the Holy Ghost and following the counsel of men whose hearts were deceived by Satan.

The Holy Spirit is faithful to all men to teach them the right way and to warn them against every unjust and unrighteous way.  The Holy Spirit came to the Apostle Paul and witnessed to him that his religion was in vain.  He had been over-riding his conscience and doing things he knew in his heart was not right in the sight of God.

Romans 7:14-25
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

The Apostle Peter warns us against deceitful men who have followed after the way of pride, covetousness and unrighteousness to do what their own carnal heart desires instead of doing the perfect will of God.

2 Peter 2:12-19
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Matthew 24:25
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

If “the very elect” children of God are not careful and watchful, they can be deceived.  This will not happen if you are listening to the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is faithful to give you warning against the temptation or false doctrine which Satan has brought against you.

The Word of God and the Holy Ghost are your defense against false doctrine, temptations and false teachers.  You must pray and study to prepare yourself to defend your soul against every evil which Satan will bring against you to turn you away from the truth.

There Is Only One Way

 We live in a world where diversity and acceptance of different life styles is promoted as being the way to peace and happiness.  But it is not so.

There is but one right way to live in this world and have peace and happiness.  It is the way of truth.  It is the way of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I do not allow that there are different acceptable religions.  There is one true religion and there are many false religions.  There is one right way and there are many wrong ways which appeal to the lusts and desires of men and women who do not want to keep the commandments of God.

The modern philosophy of “DIVERSITY” teaches that we should practice the inclusion of diverse people (as people of different races or cultures) in a group or organization.

If this philosophy of diversity was defined only as the absence of respect of persons it would be acceptable.  We do not exclude people because of their race, social or economical status.  We do not exclude people because of their ability or intellectual aptitude.  However, the inclusion of the broad based concept of culture is a different matter.  We do not accept the inclusion of every modern day “culture.”  We do not accept the inclusion of sinful conduct or wicked customs.

Holiness does not accept some modern cultural expressions and life styles.

The following objectionable definition of “culture” is stated in this dictionary entry:  “CULTURE:  5 a : the integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior that depends upon the capacity for learning and transmitting knowledge to succeeding generations b : the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group; also : the characteristic features of everyday existence (as diversions or a way of life) shared by people in a place or time culture
> culture> c : the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization culture focused on the bottom line> d : the set of values, conventions, or social practices associated with a particular field, activity, or societal characteristic.”
The present day, broad based definition of diversity includes the acceptance of all religious beliefs and all life styles including homosexuality.   Christians do not accept, embrace or tolerate such evil cultures.  Homosexuality is a destructive sin which attacks the very foundation of marriage and the family.  It is an abomination in the sight  of God.  Satan is pushing this particular sin forward in an end-of-time assault on the Christian church.  The Christian community must stand against this evil, gay culture.  It is the wrong way to live.

Ephesians 4:1-7
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Contrary to popular belief, there are not many ways to heaven, nor are there many acceptable ways to serve the Lord God of all the earth.  Our God is one God and His laws are the same for all nations.  God does not propagate contrary doctrines.

There is only one body, one church, one Bride, one family.

·        Jesus only has one Bride, the Church of God, the Mother of all the saved members of the family of God.  Men have established many religions and many churches, but there is still only one true body of believers who keep God’s word.

There is only one Spirit which is Holy and comes from God.

·        There are many evil spirit which come to steal, kill and destroy; however, there is only one Holy Spirit who comes to comfort and to teach us all things which Jesus taught.

There is only one Lord, who also comes from God, the Lord of all the earth.

·        There is only one Lord.  There is no other name by which a person can be saved and have eternal life.  There are many false Christ which have deceived many.  Matthew 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

There is only one faith which can save, deliver and give eternal life.

·        There is only one faith, one true religion which God will accept as the way for men and women to live.  It does not allow any place for any other religion, custom or culture which is contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

There is only one baptism which initiates and testifies to being born again.

·        There is only one water baptism which testifies of the new convert’s faith in Jesus Christ.  We must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost as Jesus has commanded.  Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

There is only one God, one Father from whom all blessings flow.

·        There is only one God and there is none beside Him.  He is eternal , infallible and cannot lie.  All His words and commands are yea and amen.  There is no variableness in God.

 Deuteronomy 6:4-7
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

The Word of God is for every nation.  The instructions in the Word of God are for all people.  There is no allowance for private interpretations or opinions.  God has designed to reveal His living, eternal truths to all men by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit whom He has sent into the world to teach all men all things.  It is the solemn duty of every family to teach the next generation about the faithfulness of God and the necessity of keeping all His commandments.

Zechariah 14:6-11
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

This prophecy may be about the first coming of Jesus Christ.  However, many have taught that it is a prophecy of the end of time at the second coming of Christ.  If this prophecy is speaking of the second coming of Christ, it seems to foretell of events which have not yet happened.

Before Jesus returns the second time at the end of the world, He may work a great work which will expose all the religions of the world to be false and worthless.  Except the Lord reveal it to us, who can know what Jesus will do prior to His second coming?  1 Corinthians 2:9-10, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

It is our responsibility to stay saved, be faithful and obedient.  We must always be ready for the Lord to use us as He would so desire.

Mark 12:29-31
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Our God is singular.  Our Lord Jesus Christ is singular.  The gospel of Jesus Christ has but one purpose and that is to teach us and empower us to love God and to love our neighbor according to His holy commandments.

1 Corinthians 8:1-6
1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2 And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

If anyone comes to your with any other gospel or any other message than this that we have shared with you, let him be known as a false prophet.

The apostle Paul preached a gospel message that he was confident was true and from God.   I preach to you that same message with confidence that it is true.

Listen to what Paul said:

Galatians 1:8-9
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

There is only one true gospel.

The religions of the world, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Protestantism, Catholicism and all the other sects which have originated in the minds of men are false and do not teach men the truth.

If you want to make heaven your eternal home, you must not accept any religion, doctrine, custom or culture which is contrary to the word of God, the Holy Bible.

If this seems narrow-minded and judgmental to you, it is because you have been affected by the faulty philosophies and theories of men.  There is but one true way.  We cannot and will not be persuaded otherwise, because we have proven Jesus Christ to be the truth.  There is no other way.

One of the disciples of Jesus asked him to tell him of the way to heaven and Jesus replied to Thomas in John 13:38, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

There is only one true way!  Are you living in that way?

Why is there so much violence in our world today?

Why do children war against their parents?

Why do parents war against their children?

Why do people take advantage of their neighbors and abuse them?

Why do people turn to drugs, theft, assault, rape and murder?

Why are people so angry, arrogant, rude, disrespectful, envious and hateful?

Why are people so lazy and willing to beg when they are able to work?

Why do religions fight against each other and put one another to death?

Why do people who claim to be Christians, condemn, bite and devour one another?

Why do Americans think they can force the Muslim Sunni to stop fighting against the Muslim Shia?

Why do Americans think they can police the world when they cannot police their own communities?

Why do people believe a lie and hate the truth?

People have refused to obey the righteous commandments of Jesus Christ.

People have quit praying.  They have quit studying the Bible with honesty.

People have quit seeking after God with all their heart.  They have forgotten God.  They have spiritually gone to sleep.  They have backslid, apostatized, fallen from grace.  They are hypocrites, selfish, proud, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of truth.  They have become servants of Satan instead of servants of Jesus Christ.

FIRST:  For over eighty years Satan has succeeded in making great progress against the righteous influence of the church upon the home and family.  Satan has deceived men and women who have turned and deceived others.  False preachers and teachers have convinced the people that no one can live holy in this life.  They have taught the people that their flesh is stronger than their spirit; and from time to time, they will fail God and give in to the flesh to do some evil act of sin.  They have raised several generations to believe that we are all “sinners” and that there is none good, no not one.  They have perverted the meaning and interpretation of the scriptures to support their false doctrine of “irresistible grace” and unlimited forgiveness.  These religious lies and liars have greatly affected the influence of the church and caused people to lose faith in the power of God to deliver a soul from sin and empower them to live a holy and righteous life.

SECOND:  Since the church has failed to provide a righteous influence upon the home, the home has lost its power to have a righteous influence upon the members of the family.  Mothers and fathers have argued and fussed with each other before the children.  They have set an example of division in the home.  The parents have not lived holy before the children.  They have not trained them in the way that they should go when they reach adulthood.  The parents have not taught the children discipline, respect, the value of hard work, faithful study habits and perseverance.  Parents have not taught the children to be patient, kind and gentle with each other.  They have allowed them to play violent games, watch ungodly movies, play violent videos and read destructive literature.  Children have not been trained to restrain their appetites in diet, pleasure or recreation.  Children have been allowed to argue and disobey without the valuable and immediate consequence of chastisement.

Third:  These children, raised in an ungodly environment, have grown into adults with perverted attitudes and beliefs.  They have lost their natural affections because they did not see their father and mother setting good role models of holy men and women who are worthy of emulation.  The father figure has been made weak and submissive instead of strong and brave.  The mother figure has been made dominant and head-strong instead of tender, compassionate and able to nourish the children.  Therefore, we have a generation of people whose natural affections have been so distorted as to cause people to turn to the abominable conduct of homosexuality which is the sin of sodomy.  The sin of sodomy was recently a crime in America and now it has become an acceptable privilege and a protected right.  Sexual immorality is always accompanied by violence.  Homosexuality is a crime against nature.  It is a morally destructive sin which plummets its captives into confusion and a perversion of social values.

FOURTH:  This mixed up generation is now become our governors, lawyers, doctors and preachers.  They are changing our laws and changing the rules which govern our society.  They are unfit to chart a way forward for our country without stirring up strife and violence.  Their ways are unjust and create social unrest.  They are unfaithful in marriage.  They are proud, arrogant and selfish in business.  They demand acceptance and tolerance at the same time they are intolerant of others.  They think they know best when they know nothing at all.  They have forsaken the way of holiness and they have no fear of God.

The cure, the remedy for all this violence and abuse, is found only in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is the grace of salvation which makes men and women good and worthy.  The Biblical Christian values constitute the only laws which have the power to change men and women from hateful and violent adversaries into gentle, peaceful and compassionate friends.  Jesus has truthfully spoken and given us the key to all our social problems.  Luke 13:3, “…except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Hebrews 10:23-27
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

People need to be in a congregation where they are taught the truth.  If you willfully commit sin, you are a sinner and separated from God.  If you willfully commit sin, your sacrifice for sin no longer remains in force for you.  There is no such thing as a sinning Christian.  The New Testament is full of commands and exhortations to depart from sin and live holy.

Ephesians 4:11-16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

People need to be in a congregation where the gifts of the body are functioning by the grace of God.  There must be spiritual leaders who are worthy of being in a leadership position to teach children and new converts how to live a holy life.  A true congregation of the church of God is constituted with men and women who have been delivered from all their sins to serve one another in love.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Parents have not been taught to understand how to train up their children.

Ephesians 6:1-4
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Children have not been taught and trained to obey their parents.
Fathers have provoked their children to wrath by neglect and abuse.
Fathers do not know how to nurture and admonish their children.

Titus 2:1-8
1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Old men have departed from the pathway of holiness and are out of order.
Old women have departed from the pathway of holiness and are out of order.
Therefore, young women and young men have not had teachers and examples to lead them in the way of holiness.

Matthew 19:18-19
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The laws of our nation have been perverted.  Our governors, lawyers, judges, congressmen and presidents have not been taught the truth, so they do not know how to govern with righteousness, godly judgment and mercy.  Our citizens have lost their head.

Galatians 5:14
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The love of God has been replaced with the lust of the flesh.
People do not understand the law of love because they have not seen it manifested in the lives of their teachers.

James 2:8-12
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

There is no other religion in the world that is as noble, pure and good as the Christian religion.

1 Corinthians 3:10-11
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Will you take heed to this message of salvation?

Will America and the world take heed to this message?

The majority will reject and refuse this message of deliverance.

My prayer and hope is that a few will awake to righteousness and sin not.

We Are Saved By Hope!!!

Hope is the child of faith and obedience

Without faith and obedience, hope could not exist.
If it were not for my father and mother, I would not exist.
So it is with hope, it is the child of faith and obedience.

Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

The hope of the true Christian is full of expectation and confidence.

There is a false hope which is mixed with doubt and fear.
The thief hopes he will not be caught in his sin.
The sinner hopes that God will have mercy and forgive where there has been no repentance.

Bildad the Shuhite mixed in some truth with his false accusations against Job.

Job 8:13-15
13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.
15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

Satan often mixes some truth with his lies.  So it is with Bildad in his unjust opposition of Job.  Along with his false statements about Job’s integrity and righteousness, he plants the thought that Job is being a hypocrite in his claim of being innocent before God.  It is true that the “hypocrite’s hope shall perish.”

Hope without obedience availeth nothing.
Hope can only exist where there is faith and obedience.

Just because Bildad spoke the truth in one part does not make him a true prophet or a true teacher.  Many false prophets and teachers say things that are true.  When they mix truth and error it makes them more deceptive.

Proverbs 10:28, “The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

The hope of the hypocrite shall perish.  The hope and expectation of the wicked shall perish.  But, the hope of the righteous shall be gladness.  The righteous person has a reason to hope.  The hypocrite and the wicked know that they have no justification for their hope.  Their hope is deceptive and will perish at the judgment.

Proverbs 13:12      Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

This is good counsel for our relationships with one another.  Hope is a great encouragement.  It makes a person stronger if he has something to hope for.  If you cause your companion or children to hope for something and then you defer that hope is makes the heart sick.  But, that hope which becomes a reality makes a happy life.

Ecclesiastes 9:4     For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

As long as a person is alive there is hope for the salvation of his soul.
When he has died in his sins, there is no more hope.

Psalms 42:11, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

Satan will try to press you down with doubts and fears so that you can not worship the Lord Jesus Christ who has delivered you from all your sins.  Satan wants to put a silence upon your soul and rob you of your hope.  Don’t let Satan capture your soul with his false accusations.  If you have obeyed God, then rejoice in your hope.  Be glad with confidence that God will come to help you and give you victory.

Romans 8:24-25    For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

The hope of which Paul speaks is that hope which is full of faith.  The just shall live by faith.  Hope is part of faith.  Faith is part of hope.  Christian hope and Christian faith can not be separated.  Neither can they be separated from obedience.  You can not lose one part without losing the whole.

1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

Charity is the actions which come forth from love.  God is love.  Love, which is the motivational force for charity, is the greatest power in all of heaven and earth.

Titus 1:1-4
1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

In this salutation from Paul to Titus, hope is an important part of our blessing which comes to us with salvation.

Hebrews 6:13-20
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

The hope that we have as a Christian is an anchor for our soul.  That anchor and that hope is confirmed by God.  There can be no greater confirmation.  God can not lie.  Our hope is sure and stedfast.

The church of God has a sure hope in Christ Jesus.
I have a hope!
Do you have a hope?
Is your hope the product of faith and obedience?
